I have made it back home to Lunenburg, and the focus is turning towards this art season. I took part in an information session on art inventories. It was useful as the application of an inventory is helpful in many ways. These being the location of works, where they have been in the past, and history of the work.
In starting my inventory I was surprised to find that I have already done 9 pieces of work, such as this lovely sunrise. Still a lot of work ahead to get the data inputted.
It has been a surprise for me as to the number of other skills that one needed or develops in terms of show casing ones work. Artist for the most part are wanting to create works, however the add ons they need to develop. Matting and framing the work, webpage design, setup and maintenance are a few of these things.
